The project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section passing through Phu Nghia commune is about 7.8km long. The total area to be recovered for site clearance is 29.65ha with 1,366 land plots.
Phu Nghia Commune People's Committee said that recently, the Party Committee and government of Phu Nghia commune have drastically focused on implementing site clearance work in villages along National Highway 6 through the commune.
In Doi 1 village, a series of households have proactively collected assets and dismantled works to hand over the site. This spirit has also spread strongly to many areas of villages: Pho Got, Xom Dong, Doi Che, Doi 2...
By the end of April 2026, 100% of households and individuals in the villages of Nghia Hao, Quan Cham, and Khe Than have handed over land.
In which Mr. Hoang Gia Long's family has an area of more than 108m2 of land recovered out of a total of 155.5m2 of residential land of the family.
After being propagated and explained by commune officials about the guidelines and policies, Mr. Long's family voluntarily dismantled part of the house to hand over the site.

According to the summary report of the Phu Nghia Commune Economic Department, as of May 5, Phu Nghia Commune People's Committee has issued 1,366/1,366 land acquisition notices.
In which, 100% of plots have been investigated, inventoried, supplemented information, confirmed land origin and completed the Draft Plan for support, compensation and resettlement.
The Commune People's Committee has also approved 866 plans; has issued decisions to recover land for 640 plots.
The total recovered area for the project of renovating and upgrading National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section in Phu Nghia commune is 25.29/29.65ha, reaching over 85% of the land area to be recovered.
With the goal of completing site clearance for the project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section passing through the commune in the second quarter of 2026, the Site Clearance Steering Committee, Phu Nghia Commune People's Committee directed the Commune Economic Department to coordinate with the Hanoi Traffic Works Project Management Board to continue appraising the compensation, support and resettlement plan and is expected to be completed in May 2026.
At the same time, approve the plan, carry out payments and issue decisions to recover land for site clearance for the remaining 4.36ha.
The project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section, started at the end of 2022 with a route length of 21.7km (excluding the section through Chuong My ward from Km19+920 to Km22+220).
The total investment of the project is over 9,590 billion VND, implemented in the 2022-2027 period. When completed, the road will have a cross-section of 50-60m.
