The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment is publicly announcing the environmental impact assessment (EIA) report for the Doi Thung high-end ecological urban, resort and entertainment project (Hoa Binh).
According to the EIA, the Project belongs to Group A under the Law on Public Investment (total investment of the Project is about 5,307 billion VND). The Project occupies about 68.67 hectares of land specialized for wet rice cultivation (wet rice 02) and occupies 17.5 hectares of protective forest land.
The project is implemented on a total area of 1,863,642.72m2 equivalent to about 186.36ha; of which the East of Doi Thung is about 770,203.34m2 (77.02ha) and the West of Doi Thung is about 1,093,439.38m2 (109.34ha) with a population of about 10,000 people.
The project is implemented in 3 phases:
Phase 1: Complete investment phase including main items: about 200 Commercial Village shophouses, about 100 Branded Villas, cultural villages, cable car areas, hotel areas, hotel services, theme parks, educational works, traffic works, green parks, sports and related technical infrastructure systems.
Phase 2: Complete investment phase including main items: about 150 Commercial Village shophouses, about 150 Branded Villas, public works - services, educational works, traffic works, green parks, sports and related technical infrastructure systems.
Phase 3: Complete investment phase including main items: about 150 Commercial Village shophouses, about 100 Branded Villas, public works - services, educational works, traffic works, green parks, sports and related technical infrastructure systems.
The project is expected to start implementation from the fourth quarter of 2024 and complete construction and put into operation from the fourth quarter of 2026.
