On March 11, Mr. Nguyen Hung Nam - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting to listen to the progress of site clearance for the Khoai Chau Urban, Eco-tourism, and Golf Complex Project.
According to the report at the meeting, the project has a total land recovery area of about 558ha. To date, units and localities have issued notices of land recovery for nearly 510ha; developed compensation and support plans for land, assets and crops on land of nearly 450ha; publicly posted compensation and support plans for nearly 200ha; implemented compensation and support payments for over 83ha.
Along with that, localities have organized the relocation of more than 3,500 graves to serve the project implementation.
At the meeting, delegates focused on discussing and clarifying difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process, especially in determining land origin, preparing and approving compensation and support plans. At the same time, delegates also proposed many solutions to accelerate site clearance progress, ensuring conditions for project construction according to plan.
Concluding, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hung Nam requested relevant departments, branches, and localities to improve their responsibility, strictly comply with the provisions of law and the leadership and direction of the province in the project implementation process.
In which, it is necessary to urgently review and clearly identify the origin of the land to develop a compensation and support plan for the remaining area, ensuring publicity, transparency, and compliance with regulations, striving to complete the project site clearance work before the end of April 2026.
At the same time, departments and branches are required to strengthen inspection, urging, and closely coordinate with local authorities in implementing site clearance work according to the set schedule, and be responsible to the Provincial People's Committee if delays occur in the process of organization and implementation.
