Series of large projects called for investment
Recently, Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee issued a decision to announce information on the social housing construction investment project in Pham Kham and Minh Hai villages, Nhu Quynh commune to call on investors to register for implementation. The project has a land use scale of about 12.83ha, with a total expected construction floor area of about 236,800m2.
The deployed land area is located in a favorable location, bordering the Bun River to the North, the existing residential area of Minh Hai village to the South, agricultural land to the East and Ring Road 4 and resettlement area to the West. Preliminary total investment is about 2,771 billion VND, implementation time is within 3 years from the date of land allocation.
Along with that, the Lac Viet Dong Que social housing project in Hoan Long commune has also just been announced to select investors. This is one of the large-scale projects with an area of about 15ha, total expected floor area of about 330,000m2, total investment capital of about 5,250 billion VND.
The project is located on a land plot bordering DT. 379 road to the North, Dong Que river to the South, Ngan Anh Trading and Service Co., Ltd. to the East and planning road and Hoan Long commune administrative area to the West. When completed, this housing area is expected to create a large supply for officials, employees, workers in industrial parks, low-income people and social policy beneficiaries.
Another project that is also attracting attention is the Pham Ngu Lao Social Housing Area in Duong Hao ward. According to Decision No. 1426/QD-UBND of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee, the project has a scale of about 9.15ha, with a total estimated investment of about 2,100 billion VND, and a implementation period of 3 years from the date of land allocation.
In parallel with calling for new investment, some existing social housing projects are also receiving applications for purchase and lease-purchase. This is a positive sign showing that supply is gradually being added to the market.
Hung Yen Provincial Department of Construction is receiving applications to buy 75 units at CT1, CT2 low-income apartment complex under the Pho Noi Industrial Park Housing and Service Area Project. At the same time, receiving applications to buy 49 units at CT1A building under the social housing project in Vu Phuc ward and 280 apartments at the new residential area project in Nhan Hoa ward.

Dream of settling down gradually becomes reality
The simultaneous deployment and sale of social housing projects is opening up many housing opportunities for workers - who have faced many difficulties in accessing housing suitable for their income.
Ms. Pham Thi Tham - Worker of Yazaki Hai Phong Vietnam Co., Ltd. Thai Binh branch (Thai Binh ward), shared that for many years, her family has had to rent a room in a cramped space, with poor living conditions.
My husband and I have worked for the company for nearly ten years, the income is enough to cover living expenses and raise children, but buying a commercial house is very difficult. When I know that more social housing projects are being opened for sale, I really hope to have the opportunity to own a stable apartment to feel secure in working and raising children" - Ms. Tham said.
According to the plan, in the period 2026 - 2030, Hung Yen province is expected to complete 56,421 social housing units, exceeding the target of 47,000 units assigned by the Government according to Resolution No. 07/NQ-CP dated January 12, 2026. For the period 2027 - 2030, the locality continues to set a target of completing an additional 50,249 units, continuing to exceed the assigned target.
Currently, the province is focusing on implementing 9 social housing projects with a total of 6,172 units, striving to complete them in 2026.
According to the Hung Yen Provincial Department of Construction, the development of social housing is being implemented in conjunction with urban and industrial park planning, ensuring synchronization of technical infrastructure and social infrastructure. This is not only a solution to meet immediate housing needs but also contributes to improving the quality of life for people, creating motivation to attract labor, and promoting sustainable socio-economic development.
