On September 10, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Zone Management Board issued a decision approving investors for two high-end new urban area projects in Van Phong Economic Zone, with a total investment of nearly 70 trillion VND.
The Dam Mon high-end new urban area project is implemented in Dai Lanh commune, with a scale of 1,440.29 hectares and a population of about 28,540 people.
The project plans to build 791 townhouses, 592 villas, 858 apartments, 352 social housing units, along with service works, resorts, tourist accommodation facilities and public infrastructure.
The total investment of the project is nearly 26 trillion VND.
Meanwhile, the Tu Bong High-end New Urban Area Project has a larger scale with an area of 2,579.23 hectares, a population of about 74,700 people, deployed in Van Thang, Tu Bong and Dai Lanh communes.
The project includes 1,002 townhouses, 609 villas, 3,812 apartments, 1,130 social housing units along with a system of service works, tourism resorts, accommodation facilities and public infrastructure.
The total investment of the project is more than 43 trillion VND.
When completed, these two projects are expected to contribute to promoting the development of urban space, services - tourism in Van Phong Economic Zone, while creating momentum for the socio-economic development of Khanh Hoa province in the coming period.
