On May 16, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee announced that it had just issued a decision approving the project to build a technical infrastructure system for the new urban area - park - administrative center of the province in Nam Nha Trang ward.
The project includes the entire system of essential technical infrastructure such as leveling, roads, electricity supply, water supply, rainwater drainage, wastewater drainage, communications, green trees and public lighting.
These are considered "going one step ahead", aiming to create ground and synchronous infrastructure to serve the construction of important projects in Khanh Hoa province.
According to the feasibility study report, this area will arrange many key projects such as the headquarters of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations; Khanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital; headquarters of the Provincial Military Command; Provincial Police; Provincial People's Court; State Audit of Region VIII and many other public works.
The project has been included in the list of medium-term public investment capital allocation for the period 2026 - 2030.
At the same time, the Provincial People's Committee has also adjusted the capital plan for 2026 to create conditions for investors to complete related procedures.
Currently, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Development Project Management Board is focusing resources and coordinating with relevant agencies to ensure the project's commencement progress in the fourth quarter of 2026.
According to the approved 1/500 detailed plan, the new administrative center is organized within the overall urban area - park - administrative center of Khanh Hoa province, associated with a system of green trees, parks and modern public utilities.
This area is oriented to meet a population scale of about 2,500 people living by 2040, and at the same time form a new urban center at the western gateway of Nha Trang ward.
