On March 20, news from the Office of the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province said that local leaders had inspected the implementation of projects and industrial parks in the area.
The inspection delegation of Khanh Hoa provincial leaders went to the field at a number of key projects including: Project to expand HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipyard; Ninh Thuy Industrial Park; Ninh Diem 1 Industrial Park; Doc Da Trang Industrial Park.
At the inspection points, representatives of the investor reported on the implementation progress, and at the same time proposed many solutions to remove difficulties related to infrastructure and legal procedures.
The investor of the HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipyard Expansion Project proposed that the province consider extending the operating term for another 20 years, and at the same time expand an additional 18.9ha to serve new technology investment.
The enterprise also proposed to support the construction of a dormitory for workers in the land adjacent to National Highway 26B and upgrade this road to meet the transportation of oversized and overweight components.
At Ninh Thuy Industrial Park, the investor requested to soon complete compensation and site clearance procedures for land plots that investors have registered to lease...
For Ninh Diem 1 Industrial Park, the investor proposed to be guided to adjust the planning according to the criteria of an ecological industrial park, and at the same time simplify the compensation process to ensure the progress of site handover in June 2026.
Regarding Doc Da Trang Industrial Park, the construction unit proposed to accelerate the progress of N1 intersection connecting National Highway 1 to complete infrastructure and create conditions to attract secondary investors in the third quarter of 2026.
Concluding the inspection session, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Tran Phong acknowledged the efforts of the investors in closely monitoring the project progress.
Regarding the HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipyard Expansion Project, provincial leaders agreed on the policy of adjusting the operating term to 70 years.
The expansion of the area is assigned to the Department of Agriculture and Environment to advise on planning adjustments; procedures related to worker housing and upgrading National Highway 26B are assigned to the Department of Construction to guide and handle in March 2026.
At Ninh Thuy Industrial Park, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested to promote the attraction of secondary projects, prioritizing small-scale projects with high added value.
Site clearance work must complete phase 1 in April 2026 and the entire project before June 2026.
For Ninh Diem 1 Industrial Park, departments and sectors are assigned to study solutions to handle recommendations and report before March 30.
