Ho Chi Minh City is considering and disciplining 7 party members for serious violations, of which 5 cases were expelled from the Party and proposed to expel 2 more people.

On the afternoon of March 20, the Inspection Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee said that at the 4th and 5th sessions, this agency considered and proposed disciplinary action against 7 party members.

The City Party Committee's Inspection Committee decided to impose disciplinary action in the form of expulsion from the Party on 5 party members.

Mr. Duong Dinh Thanh - Secretary of the Party Cell of Song Than Industrial Park Police Station, former Head of Song Than Industrial Park Police Station under the Ho Chi Minh City Police Party Committee, former Member of the Executive Committee of Dong Hoa Ward Party Committee, former Secretary of the Party Cell of Dong Hoa Ward Police, former Head of Dong Hoa Ward Police, Di An City, Binh Duong Province (old).

Mr. Nguyen Tung Duong - Deputy Head of the Specialized Committee, Party member of Party Cell 1, Party Committee member of the Specialized Committee, former Deputy Head of the Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department, former Party Committee member of the Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department under the Ho Chi Minh City Police Party Committee.

Mr. Le Van Bach - former Party Committee member of the Mobile Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police, former Deputy Head of the Mobile Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police, former Secretary of Party Cell of Team 8, former Party Committee member of the Criminal Police and Social Order Police Department under the Ho Chi Minh City Police Party Committee.

Mr. Le Van Bach was identified as violating Party regulations, State laws, violating things that party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example; including acts of abusing positions and powers when performing official duties. The violations were assessed as very serious, causing personal disrepute and affecting the Party organization and working agency.

Two other party members who were also expelled are Ms. Vo Ngoc Thu and Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Huong - both former Heads of the Department of Education and Training of District 5 (old). These two cases violated Party regulations and State laws, especially violations in bidding work causing serious consequences, greatly affecting the prestige of the Party organization and individuals.

In addition, the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee has advised the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to consider and implement disciplinary action in the form of expulsion for 2 other party members.

Mr. Duong Ngoc Van - former Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, former Deputy Director of the Department of Finance of Binh Duong province (old) was determined to have violated Party regulations and state laws; lacked responsibility causing serious consequences, affecting the prestige of the Party organization and individuals.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh - former member of the Executive Committee of the Tan Binh District Party Committee (old), former Head of the Urban Management Department of Tan Binh District (old) - violated Party regulations and laws of the State, did not perform or did not fully perform assigned tasks, causing loss of state assets. The violation is assessed as very serious, causing adverse effects on the prestige of the Party organization and individuals.
