On the morning of June 10, the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with Tuyen Quang province to organize the groundbreaking ceremony of the housing construction project for the armed forces of the People's Police (CAND) in An Tuong ward, Tuyen Quang province.
Attending the ceremony were Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Mr. Hau A Lenh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Son - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
The project to build housing for the armed forces of the People's Police in An Tuong ward has a total land use area of 5.5 hectares with a scale of 822 apartments, with a total estimated investment of over 1,351 billion VND. The implementation period is from the second quarter of 2026 to the third quarter of 2028.
This is the first social housing project to be implemented for officers and soldiers working in the province. The project is implemented to make an important contribution to solving housing needs, creating all favorable conditions for officers and soldiers to feel secure in their work.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc said that in recent years, the Central Public Security Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security have always paid attention to leading and directing the implementation of many policies and solutions to improve the lives of officers and soldiers, especially housing policies for forces working in difficult areas and large cities.
The groundbreaking ceremony of the housing construction project for the armed forces of the People's Police in An Tuong ward is a political, social, and deeply humane event, showing the concern of the Party, State, and the Police sector, of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province for the lives of officers and soldiers of the People's Police," Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc emphasized.
To ensure the quality and progress of the project, Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc requested the investor and construction units to mobilize maximum resources, organize construction to ensure progress, quality, and technique. Absolutely comply with regulations on labor safety, fire prevention and fighting, environmental protection, ensure quality, modernity, and synchronization of technical infrastructure and social infrastructure.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Hau A Lenh - Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee - said that the implementation of housing projects for the armed forces of the People's Police in An Tuong ward not only concretizes the guidelines and policies of the Party and State but is also in line with the local development orientation.
Tuyen Quang province is committed to continuing to accompany, closely coordinate and create the most favorable conditions within its authority for the project to be implemented safely, with quality, on schedule, and in accordance with legal regulations.
Previously, the Ministry of Public Security announced the Decision of the Minister of Public Security on approving the investment policy, and at the same time assigned Anh Minh HG Technology Joint Stock Company as the investor to implement the Project to build social housing for the armed forces of the People's Police in An Tuong ward.
