On February 7, according to information from the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, the resettlement area in Dau Giay commune is expected to start construction in May 2026.
The resettlement area in Dau Giay commune is invested and built to serve resettlement for households affected when implementing key projects of the province, important national projects, especially projects passing through Dau Giay commune and neighboring communes.
In February 2025, the Provincial People's Committee issued a decision approving the Resettlement Area Project in Dau Giay commune.
The project has an area of 45.93 ha (total of 2,000 resettlement plots) invested in building synchronous technical infrastructure with traffic road items; water supply and drainage system; electricity supply and lighting system; technical trench works, wastewater treatment works.
The resettlement area project in Dau Giay commune has a total investment of more than 530 billion VND, from the provincial budget capital (including land auction capital). Of which, compensation, support and resettlement costs are more than 20.6 billion VND. The project implementation progress is up to 4 years from the time capital is allocated. The project investor is the Provincial Land Fund Development Center.
According to the investment plan to build resettlement areas in Dong Nai province, in 2026 the province will implement 30 projects with a scale of 414.45 ha, with a total of 15,700 resettlement plots.
