Attending the launching ceremony were Mr. Vu Dai Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Ninh province; Mr. Cao Tuong Huy - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province.
Hai Ha Seaport Industrial Park, Hai Ha District, Quang Ninh Province, was established in 2014, and now has about more than 14,000 workers.
In order to meet the housing needs of workers working in the industrial park, in recent times, Quang Ninh province has directed departments, branches and localities to actively coordinate with the investor, Hai Ha Vietnam Industrial Park Company Limited, to be determined to implement the Social Housing Project to serve workers in Hai Ha Seaport Industrial Park - Phase 1.
The project has a total investment of 638 billion VND; the scale of construction of 6 6-storey apartment buildings with about 700 apartments is expected to meet the housing needs of about 1,500 people. The total construction floor area is about 53,000 m2 on a land of nearly 3.5 hectares.
This is a key project to provide stable and convenient accommodation for hundreds of workers working in Hai Ha Seaport Industrial Park and neighboring areas. Not only contributing to reducing living costs for workers, the project also helps improve the quality of life, creating motivation for workers to stay with the enterprise for a long time, thereby promoting production - business efficiency and sustainable development for the industrial park and the whole Quang Ninh province.
The investor is urgently preparing conditions for the project to be implemented in June 2025. It is expected that the project will be completed and put into use in April 2026.
