In the last days of April, being present at the residential area adjacent to extended B6 road, Cam Duong ward, reporters recorded the urgent construction atmosphere at the construction site of the largest social housing project in the locality.
On the upper floors, workers are busy completing the final parts, from painting and repairing, installing equipment to checking technical systems.

The project is invested by a joint venture of Dong A Golden Square Joint Stock Company and Foodinco Quy Nhon Joint Stock Company, approved by the Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee with a total investment of more than 2,085 billion VND.
The project has a scale of more than 42,300 m2, including 4 blocks of buildings up to 25 floors, expected to provide about 2,192 apartments, meeting the housing needs of nearly 5,600 people.
Real-world records show that the two buildings N01A and N01B have clearly shown the appearance of a modern apartment complex. The corridor system, elevators, electricity and water are being test-operated. The surrounding campus is also being urgently completed with internal roads, green trees and essential amenities.

Not just a construction project, the project is carrying great expectations from many workers.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, a worker working in an industrial park in the area, shared that he has been monitoring the project progress for many months.
My husband and I work far from home, the income is not high, and for many years we have to rent cramped rooms. If there is an opportunity to buy an apartment here, it is considered a stable place to live, and we can feel secure in working for a long time," Mr. Hung said.

Sharing the same expectation, Ms. Le Thu Trang (resident of Cam Duong ward) believes that social housing is an important "door" for young people.
Current commercial housing prices exceed the capacity of many people. Projects like this not only help solve immediate needs but also create conditions for workers to stick with the locality for a long time," Ms. Trang expressed.
Talking to reporters, Mr. Vu Van Chuan - Head of the Project Management Board - said that the project currently has about 320 workers working and is on high progress.
Two buildings N01A and N01B have completed about 98% of the volume, and are completing the final parts to be expected to be handed over in June. Building N02 is deploying the foundation, and the outer infrastructure of phase 1 is basically completed synchronously with the 2 main buildings," Mr. Chuan informed.

According to the representative of the investor, the project is focused on both construction quality and living space.
In addition to apartments, the building also arranges community living areas, parking lots, and green spaces to meet the essential needs of residents. Technical, safety and operational standards are also strictly controlled before being put into use.
With the current progress, in the short term, thousands of apartments in Cam Duong ward will be ready to welcome residents to live in.

In the context of increasing housing demand for low-income people and workers, accelerating the progress of social housing projects is considered an important solution.
The project in Cam Duong ward not only supplements supply but also contributes to completing urban infrastructure, towards sustainable development.
