On October 29, Lam Dong Provincial Department of Finance announced the progress of coastal projects including: Ham Tien - Mui Ne new urban, commercial and service area (area I, III, IV, V), Air sand Hill Area (Mu Ne Ward) and Bung Thi Eco-tourism and resorts project (Tan Thanh Commune).
In particular, the Ham Tien - Mui Ne New Urban, Commercial and Service Area Project (area I, area of 48.39ha, Phu Thuy ward) is being finalised by the Provincial Land Fund Development Center for auction to submit for appraisal.
However, the progress of determining starting prices and approving auction plans is still slow; the locality is currently focusing on handling 1 case of re-encroachment on land.
The Ham Tien - Mui Ne Urban Area Project (area III, 218.65ha, Mui Ne Ward) has been approved to select an investor through bidding, but there are still problems in handling compensation records and exploiting land along both sides of Vo Nguyen Giap Street.

The two projects in the same urban area mentioned above, including area IV (193.79ha) and area V (157.14ha), both in Mui Ne ward, are currently in coordination with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Department of Natural Resources and Environment, and People's Committee of Mui Ne ward to complete legal documents.
The Bung Thi Eco-tourism and Resort Project (106ha, Tan Thanh Commune) has not yet been approved for a detailed 1/500 plan and there is no investment proposal dossier.
The Sand and Flight Hill Project (115ha, Mui Ne Ward) is being reviewed and compared with each case of land use, including the area with cemeteries, to classify and plan each content; striving to complete before October 30, 2025.
Faced with difficulties in the implementation process, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh requested units, branches and localities to speed up progress, ensuring growth targets for 2025 and the following years.
Accordingly, the Project Area I must immediately complete the auction plan and completely handle the situation of land encroachment before November 5. For Zone III, urgently submit land allocation, land lease, and land price determination documents before October 31, and focus on land counting and recovery according to regulations.
For Zone IV and Zone V, the Department of Finance is assigned to preside over and coordinate with departments, branches and the People's Committee of Mui Ne Ward to fully report the implementation process, as a basis for submitting to the Provincial People's Council to include in the investor selection list.
For the Sand and Flight Area Project, it is required to focus on site clearance, enforcement of encroachment cases and implement compensation work in accordance with regulations. For the Bung Thi Project, relevant units must urgently complete the detailed planning and investment proposal documents according to the direction of the province.
