On October 19, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee announced that it will auction land use rights in 2025 for land plots managed by Lam Dong Provincial Land Fund Development Center.
The most notable of which is Area I of the land fund on both sides of Vo Nguyen Giap Street (Ham Tien - Mui Ne New Urban Area for Trade and Services, Area I), stretching through Mui Ne and Phu Thuy wards.

This land has an area of 483,923m2 (equivalent to more than 48ha), with the purpose of use for residential land and commercial service land.
This is considered one of the "golden lands" located along the coastal road leading to Mui Ne, where many real estate projects for tourism services are concentrated.
In addition to the 48ha land, the province will also auction the Thong Xanh Hotel Restaurant Land Area (4,255.6m2) in Dong Gia Nghia ward.
The 3,999.7m2 plot of land reclaimed by Tien Phong Mechanical Cooperative in Phan Thiet Ward is also on the list, and it is necessary to speed up procedures to put it up for auction.

To carry out the auction, the Provincial People's Committee requested the authorities of Mui Ne and Phu Thuy wards to completely resolve the situation of land encroachment, ensuring the original status of the land before organizing the auction.
The Provincial Land Fund Development Center is the focal unit, responsible for inspecting, managing the land boundary area, coordinating with localities to compensate for site clearance and relocate households living in the area.
The auction of these land plots aims to effectively exploit land funds, create budget revenue, and at the same time open up opportunities to attract investors, promote socio-economic development of the province.
