On April 11, Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee - Mr. Do Huu Huy - chaired a working session to listen to a report on the progress of the Ham Tien - Mui Ne New Urban and Service Area project (Area III).
This project was first approved by the Provincial People's Committee for investment in July 2024. With a planned scale of about 218.87 hectares of land, the project passes through 3 communes and wards in Phan Thiet city. The total capital for the project is more than 11,000 billion VND.

Up to now, the project has been approved by Phan Thiet City People's Committee for detailed planning 1/500. Investors have completed the review of the State's managed clean land (about 66 hectares) and is carrying out the compensation for site clearance of the remaining land area, and at the same time carrying out relevant procedures in accordance with the law.
Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee Do Huu Huy affirmed that the province's viewpoint is to resolutely remove difficulties, speed up the progress of compensation and site clearance, in order to soon have clean land handed over to investors to implement the project according to the set schedule.
At the same time, the province assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to coordinate with relevant departments, branches and localities to review and propose plans to speed up the progress of compensation and site clearance for the remaining area.

Compensation for people must be satisfactory and in accordance with legal regulations; support investors in completing environmental impact assessment dossiers. The province assigned the Department of Construction to guide investors on documents and procedures related to construction according to regulations to ensure the project implementation progress in the coming time.

Ham Tien - Mui Ne New Urban Area for Trade and Services Project (Area III) with the goal of investing in building a new urban area to serve the socio-economic development of the locality with individual housing areas, townhouses combined with trade services, accommodation services, hotels, etc.
