On July 24, information from the Lao Cai Provincial Economic Zone Management Board said that the Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 2548 approving the investment policy and at the same time approving the investor of the project to invest in construction and business of infrastructure of Cam Duong Industrial Park, Cam Duong ward, Lao Cai province.
The investor implementing the project is Le Premium Investment Joint Stock Company.
This is the next industrial park approved for investment in the northern province of Lao Cai, after Ban Qua, Phu Xuan, Phu Xuan 1 and Vo Lao industrial parks.
The project is oriented to develop according to the ecological industrial park model.
Cam Duong Industrial Park has a scale of 196.3ha, with a total investment of 1,996 billion VND. The project is implemented in two phases, of which phase 1 with an area of 90ha is expected to be completed and put into use in the third quarter of 2028; phase 2 with an area of 106.3ha will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2030.
The project's operating period is 50 years from the date the State allocates land or leases land.

According to the plan, more than 101ha of land is allocated for industrial production, accounting for 51.55% of the total area of the area.
The project prioritizes attracting fields such as deep mineral processing using clean technology, mechanical engineering, electronics, high technology, agricultural and forestry product processing, light industry, logistics and environmentally friendly industries according to the ecological industrial park model.
When put into operation, Cam Duong Industrial Park is expected to meet the needs of industrial land funds for secondary investors, create jobs for about 5,000-7,000 workers, increase budget revenue and promote the economic restructuring of the province towards industrialization and modernization.
