On the morning of July 16, Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee coordinated with EuP Group to organize the groundbreaking ceremony of the Phu Thinh 3 Industrial Cluster technical infrastructure construction investment project.
The project is invested by EuP Industrial Joint Stock Company, with a scale of 75 hectares, implemented in Van Phu ward and Yen Binh commune, with a total investment of 550.3 billion VND.
After completion, the industrial cluster is oriented to attract high-tech, construction materials, processing of agricultural and forestry products, food, interior production, supporting industries, mechanics, electronics and high-value-added industries, in line with the province's green industrial development orientation.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee Phan Trung Ba acknowledged the efforts of the investor and departments, branches, and localities in the process of completing procedures, creating conditions for the project to be eligible for implementation.
Leaders of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee requested the investor to focus financial resources, human resources, and equipment to construct on schedule, striving to put the entire project into operation in the fourth quarter of 2026.
At the same time, departments and sectors continue to accompany, promptly remove difficulties, and create favorable conditions for businesses in the project implementation process.
For local authorities, Van Phu Ward People's Committee and Yen Binh Commune People's Committee are assigned to coordinate to complete the remaining compensation and site clearance work, ensure security and order in the construction area, and at the same time pay attention to supporting people to stabilize their lives, vocational training and create jobs after land recovery.
Consulting units and contractors are required to strictly comply with construction standards, ensure project quality, labor safety and minimize impact on people's lives in the area.
In the program, EuP Group and Jiangsu Dadu Plastic Materials Co., Ltd. signed a memorandum of understanding on investment cooperation, and also performed the ceremony to start construction of the factory.
On this occasion, EuP Group also presented 200 million VND to support social security work for Yen Binh commune and Van Phu ward.
