On the morning of August 26, in Gia Phu commune, Linh Linh Industrial Joint Stock Company held a groundbreaking ceremony for the project to invest in construction and business of Phu Xuan Industrial Park and Phu Xuan 1 Industrial Park infrastructure.
The two projects have a total area of 500 hectares, with an investment capital of nearly 5,500 billion VND. Among them, Phu Xuan Industrial Park is 300 hectares wide, with capital of 3,277 billion VND; Phu Xuan 1 Industrial Park is 200 hectares wide, with capital of 2,185 billion VND.
According to the approved schedule, investment preparation and completion of procedures will be carried out in 2026. Technical infrastructure is expected to be constructed from the first quarter to the fourth quarter of 2027 and put into operation from the first quarter of 2028.
The two industrial parks will form a production land fund with synchronous infrastructure, aiming to attract high-tech projects, supporting industries, mechanical engineering, deep processing and logistics.
The project has the advantage of connecting with IC17 intersection, Tang Loong Industrial Park, Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway line and important traffic routes, creating favorable conditions for goods transportation.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee Phan Trung Ba emphasized that this is an important milestone, contributing to expanding the industrial development space, attracting investment and creating new growth momentum for the province.
Provincial leaders requested the investor to ensure progress, quality, labor safety, fire prevention and fighting and environmental protection; build industrial parks in a green, modern, synchronous direction, not attracting projects that pose a risk of pollution and use outdated technology.

The Provincial Economic Zone Management Board and departments and branches are required to proactively remove difficulties and not let procedures under the responsibility of state agencies affect project progress.
Gia Phu commune is proposed to coordinate in effectively implementing compensation, support, resettlement, vocational training, job conversion and stabilizing the lives of affected people.
According to the investor, the two industrial parks are expected to create jobs for thousands of workers, while contributing to attracting investment capital, developing supporting industries, logistics and increasing budget revenue.
On this occasion, Linh Linh Industrial Joint Stock Company presented gifts to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Phu commune to support social security work in the area.
