In mid-June, many social housing projects in Lao Cai province are entering the final sprint phase to put the projects into operation.
At the Golden Square Lao Cai Social Housing project, in Cam Duong ward, on June 20, the investor organized the first handover ceremony for residents after more than 1.5 years of construction.
Many customers have received apartment keys, marking the time when the first homes are officially handed over.
Mr. Le Van Dua - General Director of Dong A Golden Square Joint Stock Company (representative of the investor) said that the handover of the first batch is not only a milestone in construction progress but also the beginning of the process of forming a community of residents at Golden Square Lao Cai.
The project is invested by a joint venture of Dong A Golden Square Joint Stock Company and Foodinco Quy Nhon Joint Stock Company, with a total investment of more than 2,085 billion VND.

The project is built on an area of more than 42,300 m2, including 4 blocks of buildings up to 25 floors with about 2,192 apartments, meeting the housing needs of nearly 5,600 people.
According to records, the two buildings N01A and N01B have been completed, the corridor system, elevators, electricity, water and technical items have been test-operated before handover. Internal roads, parking lots, green trees and many essential amenities are also basically completed synchronously.

Representatives of the Project Management Board said that the construction site still maintains hundreds of construction workers. Two buildings N01A and N01B have been completed and started handing over some apartments in June. Meanwhile, building N02 is deploying the foundation, and phase 1 technical infrastructure is basically completed.
Not only in Cam Duong, the construction atmosphere at the social housing project on the left bank of the Red River (Lao Cai ward) is also taking place urgently.
Real-world records show that many buildings have dismantled scaffolding, gradually revealing their complete shape.
Inside the project, workers focused on installing and completing the electrical system, fire prevention and fighting, elevators and technical items...
The project has a total investment of more than 630 billion VND, built on an area of more than 1.66 hectares, including 4 12-story buildings with about 760 apartments.

To date, the two rear buildings have reached over 90% of the construction volume, and the first 350 apartments are expected to be handed over by the end of June.
Mr. Tran Hong Nhat - Deputy Head of the Project Management Board - said that although facing difficulties in manpower due to many projects being implemented at the same time, contractors still maintain continuous construction to ensure progress.
We are focusing our efforts to put the project into synchronous operation soon this year," Mr. Nhat said.
According to investors, both projects are focused on not only construction quality but also towards forming a synchronous living environment.
In addition to apartments, many items such as community activity areas, parking lots, green spaces and technical infrastructure systems are being completed to serve residents.

The simultaneous completion of two large-scale social housing projects in the near future is expected to add thousands of apartments, contributing to meeting the housing needs of low-income people and workers.
Not only solving the housing problem, the projects are also expected to contribute to embellishing the urban appearance, creating development momentum for the Cam Duong and left bank areas of the Red River.
