The Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Lam Dong province has just sent a document to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment requesting to publicize the list of 12 organizations violating land laws in the area.
In particular, Lam Ha Energy Joint Stock Company violated the law by occupying unused land in rural areas managed by the People's Committees of Dam Rong and Lam Ha districts; encroaching on agricultural land other than rice fields, special-use forest land, production forest land of households and individuals, and occupying non-agricultural land which is river and stream land managed by the People's Committee of the commune. This enterprise was fined 175 million VND and had to return 209 million VND of illegal profits.
Tuan Thien Trading and Cultivation Company Limited used agricultural land of households, individuals and the Bao Loc City Military Command without the consent of the land users; used land of households and individuals by mutual agreement but did not change the land use purpose. This enterprise was fined VND860 million and had to return the illegal profit of VND5,776 million.
LQ Joton Lam Dong Joint Stock Company used land from households and individuals through self-negotiation, borrowed land for agricultural production but did not carry out procedures to change the land use purpose. This enterprise was fined 300 million VND and had to return the illegal profit of 4,105 million VND.
Clean Biology Company Limited (Da Lat City) used protected landscape forest land, which is a planted forest, for non-agricultural purposes but did not complete procedures to convert land use purposes; Used protected landscape forest land, which is a natural forest, for other agricultural purposes but did not complete procedures to convert land use purposes. The enterprise was fined 159 million VND and had to return the illegal profits of 995 million VND.
