Explaining the proposal to expand the planning of Ha Vang industrial park in Ha Tinh

Ha Tinh - After proposing to expand the planning of Ha Vang industrial park from 100 hectares to 300 hectares, leaders of Can Loc commune explained the basis of this proposal.

On July 15, Lao Dong Newspaper reporters were present in Hong Vuong and Hong Linh villages (Can Loc commune) and recorded that this place is a large rice and crop field. Here, a sign was placed announcing the planning of the Ha Vang industrial park construction sub-area at a scale of 1/2. 000 with a planned area of 100 hectares.

The plan for sub-area construction of Ha Vang industrial park with a scale of 100 hectares was approved by Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee in decision 2182 dated August 29, 2025.

However, according to the investigation of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, recently, Can Loc Commune People's Committee has proposed to Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee and Ha Tinh Provincial Economic Zone Management Board to expand the planning of Ha Vang industrial park.

The above proposal has caused many people to wonder when next to the planned area of Ha Vang industrial park, there is Can Loc Industrial Cluster with an area of 24 hectares, invested unfinished for 5 years, not promoting project efficiency, wasting land.

Mr. Tran Manh Son - Chairman of Can Loc Commune People's Committee said that based on the planning of Ha Vang industrial park with an area of 100 hectares approved by the Provincial People's Committee, the locality has just proposed to expand the planning to 300 hectares.

Mr. Son explained that due to the trend of potential investors wanting to invest in large-scale industrial parks, the locality proposed expanding the planning of Ha Vang industrial park to prepare a large land fund to meet the needs of investors.

Also according to the Chairman of Can Loc Commune People's Committee, the location proposed to expand the planning of Ha Vang industrial park is mainly crop land, rice land and the commune's reserve land fund, so it will be more convenient when carrying out compensation and site clearance work.

Regarding the Can Loc industrial cluster technical infrastructure investment project after 5 years of implementation, which is currently unfinished, abandoned, and wasting land, Mr. Son said that the locality is coordinating with the investor, Tan Ha Do Investment Joint Stock Company, to remove obstacles to continue investing and completing the project.

A leader of the Ha Tinh Provincial Economic Zone Management Board informed that the Board has received a request from the Can Loc Commune People's Committee to expand the planning of Ha Vang industrial park.

Leaders of the Ha Tinh Provincial Economic Zone Management Board also believe that planning a large-scale industrial park will be more favorable in attracting large investors to invest in technical infrastructure construction.

After completing technical infrastructure, with the large scale of the industrial park, it will also be more favorable in attracting large projects to build factories, creating jobs, and increasing budget revenue.
