The Electronic Information Portal of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee said that the Provincial People's Committee has decided to approve the construction planning project of Bau Bang district until 2040.
This is a northern district of Binh Duong province, bordering Phu Giao, Dau Tieng districts, Ben Cat city of Binh Duong and bordering Binh Phuoc province. Bau Bang has a natural area of 34,000 hectares with 7 administrative units.
Bau Bang District strives to become a town under Binh Duong province; with the priority orientation of developing industry and services. Currently, Bau Bang has 3 industrial parks with an area of about 2,000 hectares.
According to the approved planning project, Bau Bang district will open and build 6 more industrial parks with a total area of 4,176 hectares.
Of which, Cay Truong Industrial Park (in Cay Truong II Commune and Lai Uyen Town) is 700 hectares wide; Lai Hung Industrial Park (Tan Hung Commune) is 600 hectares wide; Bau Bang 3 Industrial Park (in Cay Truong II Commune and Tru Van Tho Commune) is 1,146 hectares wide; Bau Bang 4 Industrial Park (Tan Hung Commune) is 500 hectares wide; Bau Bang 5 Industrial Park (in Long Nguyen Commune) is 1,000 hectares wide and Dau Tieng Industrial Park has a land area of 221 hectares in Bau Bang district.
The driving force for Bau Bang to attract businesses to industrial parks is the attraction of FDI projects and domestic projects that continue to register for investment in Binh Duong.
The construction of industrial parks with systematic infrastructure and environmental protection in Bau Bang will be the destination of businesses.
Besides, Binh Duong province is currently planning to relocate factories located outside the southern industrial zones of the province to the northern industrial zones, including Bau Bang district.
The planning of industrial park construction will prepare infrastructure to welcome businesses to relocate and build factories.
Planning over 400 hectares for logistics service development
To support industrial development, Bau Bang district has planned land for logistics service development. It is expected to build Bau Bang dry port on 20 hectares, Lai Hung dry port on 100 hectares, logistics area in Long Nguyen commune on 4.6 hectares and warehouse service area in Tan Hung commune on 290 hectares.
