The Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh Expressway project, the section passing through the old Binh Duong province, has a length of 45.7 km. The recovered land area is 334.1 hectares, affecting 1,616 households, individuals and organizations. It is expected to resettle 252 cases.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee's Electronic Information Portal, up to this point, the units have issued land reclamation notices reaching nearly 93%, counting to 74%, approving compensation plans for 480 cases with the amount of VND 1,665 billion.

For Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4, there is a clearance route of 27.83 km through the old Binh Duong and some intersection locations. The land area expected to be recovered is about 312.54 hectares, affecting 1,449 households, individuals and organizations. It is expected to resettle 300 cases.
As a result, up to now, the units have announced land recovery of over 97%, measurement of over 69%, approved land prices and approved compensation plans for 139 cases with an amount of nearly 672 billion VND.

According to records, compensation and site clearance work has been delayed in the past 2 months. Currently, localities with projects have stabilized their apparatus after the reorganization, so they are stepping up propaganda and mobilization work for the people.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, localities and investors strive to complete the approval of compensation plans and disbursement of capital allocated for compensation and resettlement support for the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh Ring Road 4 and Expressway project by September 30, 2025.
