On August 1, Vice Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Lam and representatives of relevant departments and branches conducted a field survey of locations planned for resettlement to serve the site clearance work for the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 project.
According to the plan, Tay Ninh province will arrange 7 resettlement areas with a total area of about 74.9 hectares, providing about 3,371 plots of land, to ensure accommodation for households affected by the project.
The surveyed locations include Ben Luc, Rach Kien, My Loc, Phuoc Vinh Tay and Tan Tap communes. Also joining the working group were representatives of the consulting unit and relevant authorities.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Lam requested departments, branches and local authorities to urgently carry out procedures related to the establishment, appraisal and approval of detailed plans 1/500 for resettlement areas, while integrating them in accordance with the general planning of each commune.
This is to ensure consistency and compliance with legal regulations on planning, creating favorable conditions for project implementation in the coming time.
The Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 project has a total length of nearly 160km, a total investment of about VND 120,413 billion, divided into 10 component projects. The section passing through Tay Ninh province alone is about 78.3km long (including 3.8km through Ho Chi Minh City), including 3 component projects, passing through 15 communes in the province.
