Similarly, in Phu Tho ward, the Social Housing Project for Workers in Phu Ha Industrial Park with 746 apartments, a total area of 50,751m2 has also completed phase 1. The project has put into use 223 apartments, with a total floor area of about 9,527m2.

Ms. Nguyen Van Anh (46 years old, from Lac Thuy commune), a worker in Viet Tri ward, shared that from Hoa Binh ward to Viet Tri to work, in the past few months, her whole family of 4 people have been temporarily renting a house, which is quite expensive and inconvenient.
"I really hope to soon buy a social housing unit near my workplace at a suitable price to settle down and feel secure in sticking with the job here for a long time" - Ms. Anh said.
According to the representative of the People's Committee of Phu Tho province, the province has planned 142.48 hectares of land for social housing development. At the same time, proactively arrange land funds in localities with industrial parks and clusters such as Viet Tri, Phu Ninh, Tam Nong, Thanh Ba...
"From the beginning of the year to the end of May 2025, the whole province has completed 711 social housing units, equivalent to more than 56,000m2 of construction floor space" - said a representative of the People's Committee of Phu Tho province.
According to the Department of Construction of Phu Tho province, from 2021 to now, there are 4 new social housing projects in the province that are continuing to be implemented.
Of which, the low-rise social housing area in Nong Trang ward has put into use 123 units; the Phu Ha Industrial Park Workers' Housing Area (Phu Tho ward) has completed 588 units.
"It is expected that by the end of 2025, Thuy Van Industrial Park Workers' Housing Area will hand over 320 more units and Thanh Cong Social Housing Project (Thanh Mieu Ward) will also complete 279 units" - said a representative of the Department of Construction of Phu Tho province.
In addition, Phu Tho province is accelerating investment procedures for 2 other social housing projects including workers' and expert housing areas Hoc Cheo (Lam Thao commune) and high-rise social housing areas N03 (Nong Trang ward).
It is known that implementing the Project "Investing in the construction of at least 1 million social housing apartments for low-income people and industrial park workers in the period of 2021 - 2030" Phu Tho province was assigned the target of building 21,865 social housing apartments in the period of 2025 - 2030. Of which, the target assigned in 2025 is 2,330 units. Currently, Phu Tho province has completed 1,059 units and is investing in the construction of 9,302 units. It is expected that 69,660 social housing units will be completed by 2030.
