Quang Ninh Provincial Department of Construction has just publicly announced information on the social housing project at Thuy San hill, Bai Chay ward, Quang Ninh province for investors to know and send dossiers requesting investment policy approval and assign investors according to legal regulations.
The deadline for receiving applications is from March 31, 2026 to the end of April 29, 2026.
The project has a total area of about 1.1ha, of which the residential land area is about 10,668 m2, located on Thuy San hill - one of the highest hills currently in the center of Bai Chay ward.
This is a "clean" land area, which has completed site clearance and is managed by the State.
The social housing project at Thuy San hill, Bai Chay ward is allowed to build up to 20 floors, with about 980 apartments, total floor area of about 53,900 m2. Total investment capital is about 647 billion VND. Project implementation progress from 2026 to 2028.
To date, Quang Ninh province has been and is implementing 16 social housing and worker housing projects with a total of 18,829 units/17,588 units according to the implementation plan, which will be completed and exceed the target of 107% assigned by the Prime Minister to Quang Ninh province by 2030.
In which, in 2025, Quang Ninh province completed 2,464 units/2,201 units (completing 112% of the assigned target), being one of the outstanding localities in completing the target assigned by the Prime Minister in 2025.
In 2026, Quang Ninh strives to complete the assigned target of 2,770 units. Specifically, urge 5 project investors that started construction in 2025 (about 4,991 units) to be able to complete 2,770 units that have been assigned by the Prime Minister to be completed in 2026.
