Series of projects demolished to widen key roads in Hanoi to 60m

Hanoi - A series of projects in Phu Nghia commune are being urgently demolished to hand over land for the National Highway 6 expansion project.

On March 24, leaders of Phu Nghia commune (Hanoi) went to the field to inspect and urge the progress of site clearance for the Project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section in the commune with a length of more than 7.8 km (starting point at Ha Tay Import-Export Company, ending point bordering Phu Nghia commune and Xuan Mai commune).

At the inspection, Mr. Trinh Tien Tuong - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Phu Nghia commune requested the Hanoi Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board (the investor) to coordinate with construction units to focus on site clearance; support households with vehicles and machinery to demolish works to accelerate site clearance, creating favorable conditions for construction to ensure traffic flow from the Dong Tru bridge area through Nghia Hao village to the Nhat Tien village area; section from the pagoda gate area (Doi 3 village) to the turnway to the village gate of Doi 2 village.

At the same time, continue to focus on completing the determination of land origin, accelerating the progress of issuing compensation and support plans for households and individuals...

Along with coordinating with the investor and construction unit to implement solutions to accelerate the site clearance progress of the National Highway 6 renovation and upgrade project, the Party Committee and government of Phu Nghia commune requested households with areas within the site clearance area to support and agree to hand over the site to help the construction unit accelerate the project implementation progress.

According to records in Nghia Hao village, to date, nearly 200 households and individuals have agreed to hand over the land.

Many households have completed the dismantling of works, houses, and eateries, showing a sense of responsibility and supporting the local government to carry out site clearance work to ensure progress.

Similarly, in Doi 2 and Doi Che villages, the majority of households support the State's policy of renovating and upgrading National Highway 6, in which many households have voluntarily dismantled works and houses on land within the project scope.

At the end of 2022, Hanoi started the Project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section.

The project has a length of 21.7 km. The starting point is at km14 in Ba La, Ha Dong district (now Yen Nghia ward); the ending point is at km38, Xuan Mai town, Chuong My district (now Xuan Mai commune).

The total investment of the project is over 9,590 billion VND, implemented in the 2022-2027 period. When completed, the road will have a cross-section of 50-60m.
