Lang Son - The square combined with the Ho Chi Minh Memorial House is planned on an area of about 4.58 hectares, at the location of Dong Kinh Stadium.

Lang Son Square project is planned at Dong Kinh stadium, Dong Kinh ward, to form a central public space with synchronous architecture, landscape and technical infrastructure.

The project includes the stage area, central square, President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House, auxiliary items, parking lot and green tree system.

After completion, this will be a place to organize large-scale political, cultural, festival and community activities of the province.

The project is expected to be implemented in the period 2026-2028.

Currently, relevant agencies and the Lang Son Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board are carrying out compensation, support, resettlement, site clearance, and preparing conditions for commencement.

During a recent field inspection, Secretary of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee Hoang Quoc Khanh assessed that the square is a cultural work of particular importance to the locality.

Provincial leaders requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to preside over and coordinate with the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board and the consulting unit to carefully study the entire design plan.

The project must ensure harmony and synchronization between architecture, landscape and technical infrastructure, meeting long-term usage requirements.

According to the Provincial Party Secretary, the investment in the square not only supplements cultural institutions but also contributes to improving the quality of urban space, creating architectural highlights for the central area and preserving and promoting the unique historical and cultural values of Lang Son.

When Dong Kinh Stadium is converted to build a square, sports activities will be organized at Lang Son Provincial Sports Complex. This project is being accelerated by relevant units and contractors, aiming to be completed according to plan.
