Bringing technology to students in border areas
On December 19, the yard of Loc Thinh Primary and Secondary School was busier than usual. In mixed joy and emotion, teachers and students here received 30 sets of PC computers and 2 65-inch TV screens donated by Tien Phuoc Group in collaboration with the social organization Fly to Sky Charity.
In the midst of the digital age, information technology has become the "key" to opening the door to knowledge. With just a "mouse chuot", students can enter an endless treasure trove of knowledge, access lively lectures, modern learning methods. Today's computers are not only tools, but also a companion for learning, creativity and integration.
However, in many schools in remote and border areas such as Lu Dong, technology gap is still an existing reality. For many years, the school's IT room has only had a few old, degraded computers. Each lesson, three to four students must take turns practicing on the same device. Therefore, lessons about information technology cannot be complete, and students lack the opportunity to fully explore the skills needed for the future.
Sitting in front of a private computer, typing each line of texture by hand, and performing each practice exercise for many students here is a seemingly small dream, but extremely luxurious.
PC to the border area - sowing the seeds of technological knowledge
Based on that reality, continuing the journey of "Lighting up knowledge - bright future" in 2025, Tien Phuoc Group has coordinated with Fly to Sky Charity to implement the program "PC to the border" at Loc Thinh Primary and Secondary School, in the old Loc Ninh - Binh Phuoc commune (now Loc Thanh commune, Dong Nai province).

Accordingly, 30 PC computers are equipped to supplement the school's IT room, helping each student have the opportunity to practice on one machine. At the same time, 2 65-inch TV screens were also presented to support teachers in teaching other subjects, increasing visualiteness and liveliness in each lesson.
No noise, no ostentation, the equipment given carries a simple but profound message: knowledge only truly spreads when every child has the opportunity to access fairly.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Hai Nam, Finance Director of Tien Phuoc Group, shared: The Group is always aware that education is not only the responsibility of the education sector alone, but the common responsibility of the whole society.
Supporting and investing in education, especially in learning equipment, has always been considered by us as one of the top priorities. Today's computers are only a very small part, but we hope to contribute more conditions for students to soon access information technology, and have a more solid foundation for the future," said Mr. Nam.
Gifts that open up faith and hope
Receiving the meaningful gift, Mr. Hoang Phuc Quang, Principal of Loc Thinh Primary and Secondary School, could not hide his emotions. According to Mr. Quang, the "PC program on border areas" not only has material value, but also shows the deep concern of businesses for border education - where there are still many shortages.
This valuable support is a great source of encouragement for the school community, helping us gradually improve the quality of teaching, especially IT subject according to the new general education program. Thereby, students have more opportunities to approach information technology systematically and effectively, Mr. Quang shared.
The representative of the Board of Directors also pledged that the school will manage and use the sponsored equipment for the right purpose and effectively, considering this a motivation for teachers and students to continue to strive to teach well and study well in the coming time.
That joy was evident on the faces of the students. Lam Thi Pay, a 4th grade student, was shy but her eyes sparkled when she first practiced on a new computer. Pay shared that his family does not have a computer, so it is only when he goes to school that he has the opportunity to get acquainted with IT.
"I haven't been very proficient in using it, but I'm very happy. I will try to learn to use computers better, Pays rustic words moved many people.
From the computers given away in the border area today, a new journey is being opened. It is not only the journey of technology, but the journey of faith, of hope and of dreams that are being nurtured every day.
The "PC about the border area" program once again shows the spirit of "spanding knowledge" that Tien Phuoc Group has been pursuing for many years. Because sometimes, just a "mouse click" at the right time, a child's future can turn in another direction, more open and brighter.
