On April 8, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Dak Lak Provincial Police informed that the unit had quickly reported the fire at the scrap, soap, and waste collection site in Buon Ma Thuot city.
At 5:50 p.m. on April 7, the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Department, Dak Lak Provincial Police received a fire report from people at a land plot in alley 44 Dinh Nup Street, Buon Ma Thuot City.
Immediately afterwards, the unit quickly mobilized 7 fire trucks and 45 officers and soldiers to coordinate with functional forces and 2 excavators of local people to participate in extinguishing the fire.
After about 30 minutes, the fire was basically controlled and did not spread to surrounding residential areas.
The leader of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Dak Lak Provincial Police added: "The fire burned up the grass and garbage around the landfill, and the property damage was insignificant. No one was injured in the fire."
