Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision to establish 5 inter-sectoral working groups to propagate and mobilize land acquisition, compensation, support, resettlement, and site clearance for the Gia Binh International Airport construction investment project.
Accordingly, the working groups will conduct propaganda at 5 locations including: My Thon, Ngo Thon, Thu Phap, Luong Phap villages (belonging to Gia Binh commune) and Tu Ne village (belonging to Luong Tai commune).
The working groups have the task of developing specific plans to propagate and mobilize land acquisition, compensation, support, resettlement, and site clearance for the Gia Binh International Airport construction investment project.
Recently, Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee also issued a special policy on compensation when the State recovers land to deploy Gia Binh International Airport, applied from March 10. The policy applies to households and individuals with land in the recovered area in 4 communes Gia Binh, Luong Tai, Nhan Thang and Lam Thao.
Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee has also assigned the Land Fund Development Center, the investor and the locality to accelerate compensation and resettlement support so that the project can be implemented according to schedule.
It is known that the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment has consulted the community on the resettlement project serving Gia Binh airport with a total area of over 340 hectares, with a population scale of nearly 52,000 people. The project is located in 4 communes: Dong Cuu, Gia Binh, Luong Tai and Trung Chinh. The total investment of the project is over 21,0000 billion VND, implementation progress is 2025-2032.
Previously, as Lao Dong newspaper reported, in December 2025, the National Assembly approved the investment policy for the Gia Binh international airport project with a total capital of more than 196,000 billion VND. Masterise Group was assigned to be the investor of this super project.
The project is identified as having strategic significance in reducing the load on Noi Bai airport, while opening up a new development space for the eastern and northeastern areas of the Capital.
