According to the report of the Department of Construction of Bac Ninh, the total site clearance area (GPMB) of the Gia Binh International Airport project is nearly 2,000 hectares, located in the communes of Gia Binh, Nhan Thang, Luong Tai and Lam Thao.
To date, localities have declared more than 6,690/7,980 households; paid an advance payment of over VND 2,400 billion to nearly 4,830 households, equivalent to 533.6 hectares; and inventoried about 7,500 graves to serve relocation work.
Many communes such as Gia Binh and Luong Tai have publicly posted notices of land recovery, organized inventories of assets, and supported people in completing legal documents.
Cases related to leased land, public land, and land for crop restructuring continue to be reviewed to determine the origin and develop appropriate compensation plans.

Resettlement areas and cemetery parks are being accelerated to plan and collect public opinions to soon implement construction.
The project of the route connecting Gia Binh airport with Hanoi passes through the localities: Thuan Thanh, Tram Lo, Trung Kenh, Luong Tai, Gia Binh, Lam Thao, Mao Dien, Tri Qua.
The province has approved the route plan, approved the project's e-commerce, completed the appraisal of the Feasibility Study Report; at the same time, introduced the locations of resettlement areas and cemeteries serving land acquisition in all related communes and wards.
The Traffic and Agricultural Project Management Board No. 2 is coordinating with localities to measure, count, and verify the origin of the land to prepare for land acquisition.
However, departments and branches said that the implementation process still has some difficulties: The scale of the airport has been adjusted many times, affecting land inventories; many different types of land and assets on the land have specific factors such as communal houses, temples, churches, special tombs; people want to see the resettlement area on site, ensuring the principle of "land exchange" for recovered residential land.
Concluding the inspection, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Hoang Son emphasized the requirement for localities to speed up site clearance, clarify the origin of land, implement publicity - transparency - in accordance with regulations; ensure full legitimate rights of the people.
Urgently complete detailed planning, legal documents, investment procedures of BT projects and related items to meet the conditions for starting construction.
Investors must closely coordinate with competent authorities; promptly set up boundary markers, extract cadastral maps and complete documents in accordance with regulations; proactively propose solutions to speed up progress.
