Ha Lam Coal Joint Stock Company, under the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group (TKV), has just completed an environmental impact assessment report for the Workers' Collective accommodation Area Project in Ha Lam Ward, Quang Ninh Province, to prepare for construction.
The project is located on land of the old medical station under the management of Ha Lam Coal Joint Stock Company, Ha Lam ward, Quang Ninh province, with a total area of 3,7380m2. Of which, the construction area is 1,105.3m2. The total investment of the project is 295.647 billion VND.
Accordingly, Ha Lam Coal Joint Stock Company will build a 15-storey apartment building (14 floors above ground, 1 semi- basement and 1 attic), with 377 apartments, the average area of apartments is 24.6 m2.
Currently, right next to the headquarters of Ha Lam Coal Joint Stock Company, there is also a collective building of this company. With the addition of another apartment, workers, especially miners far from home, will have more spacious and modern accommodation.
Previously, Hai Lam Coal Joint Stock Company and Nui Beo Coal Joint Stock Company also started the investment project to build a collective housing project for underground workers in Ha Tu ward, Quang Ninh province.
The investment project to build a collective housing project for underground workers of Nui Beo Coal Joint Stock Company has a total investment of nearly 300 billion VND. The project is designed modernly, including 1 basement, 11 upper floors with 389 rooms in closed rooms, 4 shared living spaces to ensure adequate essential living facilities, a safe, clean and civilized living environment for hundreds of workers. It is expected that by the end of 2027, the investment project to build a collective housing for underground workers of Nui Beo Coal Joint Stock Company will be put into operation.
