According to Phu Thuong Ward People's Committee, to remove difficulties in site clearance work, the Ward People's Committee is focusing on implementing many solutions, accelerating the progress of the Phu Thuong Ward Public Park construction investment project - a component project of the Hong River Landscape Avenue construction investment project.
Phu Thuong Ward People's Committee said that immediately after the legal procedures of the project were approved, the government coordinated with relevant agencies and units to deploy the work of inventorying, verifying the origin of land, and developing compensation, support and resettlement plans in accordance with regulations.

Up to now, the work of inventorying and reviewing the current status of land within the project implementation scope is being urgently completed. As of May 29, 2026, the ward has completed inventorying 116/120 land plots, equivalent to about 17.25 ha.
In which, the land area of households and individuals has completed inventorying 46 cases with an area of about 1.11 ha; the area of public land has been inventoried 70 cases with a total area of more than 16.14 ha.
In parallel with the inventory, Phu Thuong ward is accelerating the progress of preparing compensation, support, and resettlement plans, ensuring the legitimate and lawful rights of people whose land is within the scope of recovery.
On May 20, 2026, the Ward People's Committee issued 10 decisions approving compensation and resettlement plans for households and individuals affected by the project; it is expected that about 78 cases will be arranged for resettlement.
Notably, to date, more than 5 hectares of land have been temporarily handed over to the project implementation unit. This is an important step forward, showing the drastic involvement of local authorities and the consensus and coordination of the people in the process of implementing a project of great significance for the development of the area.
Phu Thuong ward public park is planned with an area of nearly 20 hectares, with a total estimated investment of about 1,727 billion VND. The project is oriented to be built according to a modern eco-park model, in which priority is given to developing green systems, water surfaces, playgrounds, sports and community activity areas.
In the process of rapid urbanization, the formation of a large-scale park not only creates more "green lungs" for the area but also meets the increasing needs of people for a healthy living environment, relaxation space, health training and community connection.
For many Phu Thuong residents, the project is expected to become a landscape highlight along the Red River, contributing to changing the urban appearance and creating more long-term values for generations of residents.
Mr. Pham Van Bay - Head of Nhat Tao 2 Residential Group - shared that, along with the consensus on the policy of project implementation, people hope that compensation, support, and resettlement policies will be implemented fully and promptly, ensuring the legitimate rights of affected households.
When completed, the park will bring many practical benefits, especially creating a playground for children, a place for people to practice sports and a community activity place.
People want more green areas, playgrounds for children, sports training for the elderly and community activity locations. When the park is completed, this will be a project that brings practical benefits to many generations of residents in the area," Mr. Pham Van Bay shared.
