On March 11, Mr. Lai Van Hoan - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - chaired a meeting to listen to the Management Board of Construction Investment Project No. 2 and related units and localities report on the progress of site clearance (GPMB) of the investment project to build a road from Thai Binh ward to Hung Ha commune connecting to Pho Hien ward.
According to the report; the project has a length of 24.8km; total investment of more than 4,900 billion VND from the provincial budget and central budget support. Project implementation period is 2025 - 2028.
The project is divided into 2 phases of investment, in which phase 1 from National Highway 10 intersection to Dong Tu intersection is 18.86km long; phase 2 from Dong Tu intersection to the end of the route is 5.94km long. For phase 1, construction units are implementing 2 main bidding packages including building the Tra Ly river overpass and constructing the road section.
Regarding site clearance, by March 2026, 17.09km/18.86km had been completed, equivalent to 83.34ha/93.36ha; the remaining 1.77km (10.62ha) has not been completed, mainly related to converted land and some households' residential land, production and business land in localities such as Nam Tien Hung, Tien Hung and Hung Ha.
Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee Lai Van Hoan requested departments, branches, localities and construction units to strengthen coordination, focus on removing difficulties, accelerate site clearance progress, complete resettlement areas and relocate technical infrastructure.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Land Fund Development Center No. 2 to coordinate with Hung Yen Power Company to urgently develop a plan to relocate the power grid infrastructure within the project area; the Department of Agriculture and Environment to coordinate with contractors and the Project Management Board to remove difficulties in filling material sources, and accelerate procedures for allocating specialized material mines for construction.
In addition, localities strengthen propaganda and mobilize people to agree to hand over land; contractors mobilize human resources and equipment to accelerate construction progress, ensuring quality, safety and project implementation progress.
