At the meeting, the Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council for the Nomura - Hai Phong Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment and Business Management Project (phase 2) informed about the draft compensation and support plan for households subject to land acquisition to implement the project in the old An Hung area. Including information on determining land types, land origin; compensation unit prices according to regulations; levels of support for stabilizing life, support for job conversion; resettlement policies and other support amounts according to the provisions of law. The contents are built on the basis of the Land Law, guiding decrees and approved compensation price frameworks.
The participating households listened to the announcement of the draft, compare the area, land type and support items; give opinions and recommendations for the remaining issues. The Compensation Council has accepted and explained the regulations clearly. At the same time, it is recommended that specialized agencies review each case to ensure the legitimate and legal rights of the people and the progress of the project.
At the end of the meeting, the Council agreed to continue completing the draft compensation and support plan; fully synthesize the opinions of the people before submitting them for consideration and approval in accordance with regulations.
The approval of the draft compensation and support plan is an important step to ensure publicity, transparency, and create consensus among the people, contributing to accelerating site clearance, early implementation of the Nomura - Hai Phong Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment and Business Management Project (phase 2) as planned.
The Nomura - Hai Phong Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment, Construction and Business Management Project (phase 2) with the goal of investing in the construction and business of industrial park infrastructure as an ecological industrial park, with an area of 197.16 hectares; with an investment capital of VND 2,782.72 billion, of which the investor's contributed capital is VND 425 billion; the project's operation period is 50 years from the date of the decision approving the investment policy. Previously, on September 19, the Hong An Ward Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council completed the first payment to 96 households in the project with a total amount of VND 96,093,772,480, corresponding to the reclaimed area of more than 120,100 m2 of land.
