According to the reflection, many social media users were scammed out of large sums of money when transacting to buy gold through fanpages impersonating Bao Tin Minh Chau brand. It is worth mentioning that these pages all have green traces, making many customers trust and fall into the trap of scammers.

Some subjects also impersonate consultants, send links asking customers to provide personal information or make transfers to "receive gifts" - all of which are tricks to appropriate property.
Ms. N.N.H (residing in Hanoi) recounted that she transferred 750 million VND to buy 5 taels of gold through a Facebook account with a blue book named Bao Tin Minh Chau: "I see a page with a blue book, the content of the post is identical to the real fanpage. When they send me a QR code taken at the store, I trust them more and transfer the money immediately. Only when I could not contact them again did I realize I had been scammed."
Similarly, Mr. N.T.G (Hanoi) also lost more than 30 million VND when ordering two taels of plain round gold rings through a fake account.
Talking to Lao Dong reporter, a media representative of Bao Tin Minh Chau Jewelry Company (BTMC) said that recently, the company has continuously received feedback from customers who have been scammed.
Faced with the above situation, Bao Tin Minh Chau representative affirmed that the enterprise does not organize any online gold donation, gratitude or promotion programs through links or messages on social networks. All official promotions are publicly announced on the company's fanpage and official website. The company also recommends that consumers should only transact directly at Bao Tin Minh Chau's store system or through authenticated platforms, such as the official fanpage with a greenback at Facebook.com/baotinminhchau1989, website btmc.vn, hotline 1800 58 58 58 99, or the Zalo account "Bao Tin Minh Chau" with a goldback.
Notably, all official transactions of Bao Tin Minh Chau have legal electronic invoices with a confirmation code from the tax authority according to regulations. In case of detecting signs of forgery or fraud, people are advised to immediately contact the police or call the company's hotline for timely support.

The "green half-buy" on social networks is currently being exploited. Many accounts are verified but change their names and content to serve fraud. In that context, consumers need to be highly vigilant. Seeing green traces does not mean absolute safety. Before making any financial transactions, people should carefully check the source of information, verify through the official website or hotline of the business.
An uncautious click can cost buyers tens, even hundreds of millions of VND. Staying vigilant, only believing in official channels is the best way to protect yourself in the digital age, where "fake green tickets" are increasingly sophisticated and dangerous.
