On June 6, information from the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee said that the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee has agreed on the policy of developing a 1/500 scale detailed plan for the Provincial Administrative Center in Vinh Loc ward and Dong Loc commune. This is the basis for the Provincial People's Committee to implement the next steps, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and project progress.
According to the Nghe An Department of Construction, the project is implemented in the form of public-private partnership (PPP), build-transfer (BT) contract type. The total expected area is about 45ha, the total construction floor area is about 194,000m2, the total investment is more than 5,680 billion VND, divided into three component projects.
Two compensation, support and resettlement projects have a total budget of 235 billion VND, expected to be completed before December 31, 2026. The construction of the Provincial Administrative Center has a total investment of 5,445 billion VND, expected to be completed before May 31, 2028.
When completed, the project will focus agencies of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, National Assembly Delegation, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and provincial departments and branches, meeting the working needs of about 2,127 officials, civil servants, and public employees.
Vinh Loc Ward and Dong Loc Commune People's Committees are responsible for compensation, support, and resettlement; Nghe An Traffic Works Project Management Board organizes the implementation of construction steps and project supervision.
Previously, important procedures such as approving the partial adjustment of the Vinh City General Plan and the Vinh - Cua Lo Avenue sub-area plan had been implemented. The development of the detailed plan of 1,500 is an important next step to ensure that the project is carried out in accordance with regulations, synchronizes infrastructure and meets the construction investment progress.
