The Urban Housing Area and Culture and Sports Complex project of Cam Khe commune (Cam Khe town, former Cam Khe district) was approved for investment policy in Decision No. 2494/QD-UBND, dated October 5, 2021 of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee.
The goal of the project is to invest in synchronous housing areas and technical infrastructure systems, meeting housing needs for people, improving the environment, and beautifying the architectural and landscape space for the area.
The total land area for the project is 20.57ha, including adjacent houses, villas, public works (cultural houses, sports facilities) with beautiful architecture, green landscapes, water surfaces, and synchronously built technical infrastructure systems.
The project has a total investment of more than 1,087 billion VND invested by Tuan Huy Phu Tho Joint Stock Company - in cooperation with the Project Developer, the General Contractor is CMH Vietnam Group Joint Stock Company (CMH Group).
According to reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper in the last days of April 2026, after more than 3 years of construction, items such as: inner city roads, green trees, regulating lake, bridge, central stage... have been completed; adjacent houses are being built and completed.
It can be seen that, in the overall project, the land area for building cultural, sports, greenery, landscape, and water surface works is very large, bringing a harmonious and airy appearance to the area.
With its prime location in the center of Cam Khe commune, the project is expected to become a bustling trading center, becoming a modern urban area supporting neighboring industrial parks/clusters.
Mr. Nguyen Van Doan - a worker at Yi Da Vietnam Co., Ltd. (near the project) - shared: "Previously, this area was hills, gardens, all trees and small crevices, now it has been heavily invested and has completely changed, modern, airy and livable.
Talking to a reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Vice Chairman of Cam Khe Commune People's Committee - said that after the coercion to implement the land acquisition decision in early April, the project site clearance work has been completed, 100% of the project land area (20.57ha) has been handed over to the investor.
In the near future, the land area just cleared will be used to build a central cultural house and sports facilities. At the same time, the investor will continue to build and complete the items of the project according to the approved design" - Mr. Tuan informed.
