The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just issued a plan to auction land use rights in 2025.
7 plots of land included in the auction list are scattered in many districts.
In District 3, the land plot at 453/82 Le Van Sy, Ward 12 has an area of over 66 m2, belonging to the urban residential land planning.
In District 11, the land plot at 402/3 Hong Bang, Ward 16 is about 37 m2 wide, belonging to the existing residential land renovation planning.
One of the largest land plots is at 621 Pham Van Chi, Ward 7, District 6 with an area of about 29,877 m2, planned to develop a mixed-use high-rise area, combining offices and commercial services - hotels.
In Binh Chanh district, the land of Binh Chanh Hospital (old) at plot 258, map sheet No. 27, Tan Tuc town has an area of about 14,455 m2, most of which is planned to be used as newly built low-rise housing.
Another land plot at 84/4A, Quarter 3, Linh Trung Ward, Thu Duc City is about 15,281 m2, with 12,700 m2 of newly built residential land planning, 1,921 m2 for schools and 660 m2 of traffic land.
The last two land plots belong to Functional Area 13, Nam Thanh New Urban Area (Phong Phu Commune, Binh Chanh District). The land to the north of residential area 13E is 1,802 m2, planned for commercial - service - office, while the land to the south of residential area 13E is 2,464 m2, which will develop into an office - commercial center.
According to the plan, these lands will be auctioned in the third quarter of 2025.
The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the Land Fund Development Center to implement the plan, ensuring compliance with regulations and promptly reporting the progress, implementation results as well as arising difficulties for the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to consider and direct.
In addition to the above 7 plots of land, Ho Chi Minh City also plans to auction 3 plots of land in the Thu Thiem New Urban Area (Thu Duc City) with a total starting price of more than 5,000 billion VND. The auction is expected to take place in the second quarter of 2025.
Of which, lot 1-2 has an area of nearly 7,900 m2 and lot 1-3 is more than 5,000 m2. Both plots of land are planned to be multi-functional residential areas. Lot 3-5 has an area of over 6,400 m2, planned to develop a mixed-use apartment complex combined with commercial services.
