On July 8, Dong Nai City People's Committee submitted a report to the 3rd Session of the City People's Council, term I, 2026 - 2031 on the investment policy for the Dong Nai City Political - Administrative Center Construction Investment Project.
The project has an area of 102.52ha - area 2 is located in Tran Bien ward, with a total estimated investment of about 15,000 billion VND.
The expected project scale includes: Administrative Center Complex with a maximum height of 10 above-ground floors and 1-2 basements; inter-agency buildings of departments, boards, and branches including 8 above-ground floors and 1 basement; public administrative building including 3 above-ground floors and 1 basement; international conference center of 1,500 seats; history and culture museum; exhibition center; guest house; trade promotion center; low-rise guest house; riverside commercial services; sports field; central square, flagpole, landscape lake; riverside amusement park; green park.
In which, the Headquarters and Guesthouse of the City Police; State Audit of Region XII are kept in the original state without new construction investment.
The project implementation period is from the third quarter of 2026 to the fourth quarter of 2030, expected to be a Construction - Transfer (BT) contract, paid by land fund and state budget.
The investor proposing the project is Big Gain Investment Co., Ltd.
According to the City People's Committee, currently the system of working headquarters of political agencies, departments, boards, and branches of Dong Nai City is in a dispersed situation, cramped in scale, and many items of construction have deteriorated after many years of use.
Investing in building the Dong Nai City Political - Administrative Center to form a centralized, synchronous, modern administrative center, meeting the operating requirements of Party agencies, government, Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the city directly under the Central Government; contributing to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management, promoting administrative reform, digital transformation, improving the quality of service to people and businesses; and at the same time creating motivation for urban development, effectively exploiting the land fund after the conversion of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park, promoting sustainable socio-economic development of Dong Nai City.
