From "going away from home to earn a living" to working in the homeland
On April 9, the Phuc Yen Industrial Park Infrastructure Construction and Business Investment Project, a joint venture between Vinh Phuc International Industrial and Service Zone Joint Stock Company (VISIZ) and SHINEC Joint Stock Company, was officially started, opening up expectations of attracting high-tech FDI capital, creating motivation for sustainable industrial and urban development for Phu Tho province.
Phuc Yen Industrial Park (Phuc Yen Industrial Park) has a scale of about 111.33 ha in Phuc Yen ward, with a total investment of more than 1,988 billion VND, operating term of 50 years. This is identified as one of the key projects in the province's economic development strategy.
The development of industrial parks is gradually changing the lives of local people. Mr. Hoang Van Thien (Tam Duong commune, Phu Tho) said that before, he had to go to many provinces and cities such as Hanoi and Tuyen Quang to learn a trade and find a job. However, about 10 years ago, when industrial parks developed in Phu Tho, he decided to return to his hometown to work because of the stability and geographical advantages.

I left my family at the age of 14-15 to learn mechanical engineering and make a living. When I returned, I saw my hometown develop clearly thanks to industrial parks. I hope there will be more factories and businesses from home and abroad investing, helping people have stable jobs and reduce dependence on agricultural production" - Mr. Thien shared.
Participating in the project construction process, Mr. Bui Thanh Chinh (Phuc Yen ward, Phu Tho) said that before he had to work as an electronics worker far from home, now he can work near his family as industrial parks develop in the locality.
This area used to be mainly fields, now it has been planned into an industrial park, attracting residents to live, creating motivation for development for the whole area. When my hometown has more jobs, I no longer think about working far away" - Mr. Chinh said.

Social housing project with a total investment of 2,500 billion VND
In addition to developing production infrastructure, the project is also expected to deploy social housing for workers this year.

Mr. Nguyen Hai Tung - General Director of Vinh Phuc International Industrial & Service Joint Stock Company said that the province has planned a land fund of about 67 hectares for social housing development. It is expected to build 10 15-story buildings, providing about 1,500 apartments with a total investment of about 2,500 billion VND.
According to Mr. Tran Duy Dong, Phuc Yen IP aims to attract multi-industry investment, prioritizing high technology, electricity, and electronics; and is expected to become a typical model of a modern industrial park, creating breakthroughs in improving labor productivity, ensuring conditions for green growth and sustainable development.
The project coming into operation will actively contribute to solving employment, improving people's incomes, contributing to the local budget as well as creating momentum for growth, contributing to the socio-economic development of Phu Tho province.
