On July 13, a working delegation of Dong Hoa Ward People's Committee (HCMC) came to mobilize households with land under clearance to hand over land to implement items under the HCMC National University project.
At households, the working group informed about the State's policy, project implementation progress, and at the same time mobilized families to hand over land soon to ensure construction progress.
During the working process, households presented difficulties in life and raised some problems related to the fulfillment of tax obligations when being granted land use right certificates for resettlement plots.
Mr. Nguyen Van Yem - Vice Chairman of Dong Hoa Ward People's Committee, Chairman of the Ward Compensation and Site Clearance Council, acknowledged the thoughts and aspirations of the households. At the same time, leaders of Dong Hoa Ward explained and exchanged contents under their authority and wished the families to continue to agree and soon hand over the site so that the project can be implemented on schedule.
According to Dong Hoa Ward People's Committee, the items belonging to the Ho Chi Minh City National University project have affected 38 households. To date, most households have complied with the handover of land. Currently, only a few cases are continuing to be propagated, mobilized and remove obstacles to soon hand over land. It is expected that compensation and site clearance for this project will be completed before July 30, 2026.
