Drawing real estate projects, advertising for sale on social networks
On June 23, Bao Lam 3 Commune People's Committee (Lam Dong) said it had conducted an inspection after receiving feedback on the promotion and introduction of the Emerald River Garden project in the area.
Through review, functional agencies discovered that on social networking platforms such as Facebook, TikTok, many project advertisements appeared with introductions such as "beautiful riverside house in Bao Loc", located along the Dai Nga River, in hamlet 16, Bao Lam 3 commune.
After on-site inspection, the Commune People's Committee made a record and requested to temporarily suspend construction activities in the area promoted as the Emerald River Garden project.
The locality affirmed that in the commune, there is no project named Emerald River Garden licensed for investment by competent authorities according to regulations.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Truc - Vice Chairman of Bao Lam 3 Commune People's Committee said that initial verification results show that some individuals have fabricated information themselves.Emerald River Garden projectto promote, call for capital contribution and purchase and sale of land plots.According to local authorities, providing false information easily leads to misunderstandings among people, posing a risk of disputes, causing property damage and rights damage to those involved in transactions.
Recommend people to be vigilant
According to the reporter's investigation, in recent days, information about the Emerald River Garden project has been spread through videos and images posted by some real estate brokers on social networks.
In the promotional content, the land plot along the Dai Nga River is introduced as a project with a prime location, near the center of Bao Loc, owning many amenities such as meditation area, yoga, riverside resort and is advertised as "leading real estate in the Central Highlands".
Even, brokers also provided information that the project is open for sale in phase 2, with only a few land plots left, and introduced areas with many investors from Ho Chi Minh City, USA, and Australia who have bought land to build resorts.
However, according to Bao Lam 3 Commune People's Committee, this information has not been confirmed by functional agencies, is ambiguous, unverified and may cause misunderstanding for people, especially those outside the locality.
Faced with the above situation, local authorities recommend that people not participate in contributing capital, depositing, buying and selling or transferring related to the so-called Emerald River Garden real estate project without being legally certified by competent authorities.
The Commune People's Committee strictly prohibits organizations and individuals from taking advantage of untrue information to promote, mobilize capital against regulations or commit other illegal acts," Mr. Nguyen Thanh Truc said.
Currently, the locality is directing the inspection and verification of issues related to land, construction and river and stream safety corridors in this area to handle them strictly according to regulations.
