On September 20, the People's Committee of Chanh Hiep Ward, Ho Chi Minh City sent invitations to individuals involved in the case of reflecting on the construction of wrongly built houses on other people's land.
The People's Committee of Chanh Hiep Ward invited individuals related to the ward headquarters to work on the afternoon of September 24. The content of the work is related to the construction sector. When coming to work, individuals are requested to bring documents related to their land.
Currently, the People's Committee of Chanh Hiep Ward has assigned the Department of Infrastructure and Urban Economics of the ward to handle the case.

Talking to reporters, Ms. Vo Thu Thao (born in 1992, formerly from Kien Giang, temporarily residing in Ho Chi Minh City) said that her family has officially received an invitation from the People's Committee of Chanh Hiep Ward. Her family will arrange work to come to work, hoping to find a solution to this problem.
According to Ms. Thao, the two sides had previously discussed options such as exchanging land or asking the person who built the house mistakenly on the land to rent a "genie" to relocate the house they had built. The plan to relocate the house has been discussed more by the parties, however, due to financial problems, it has not been implemented yet.

Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that in 2024, Ms. Thao and her husband bought the above plot of land. Because she did not have money to build a house, she left it empty. In mid-June 2025, Ms. Thao asked a construction unit to survey and measure to build a house and was shocked to discover that someone had built a house on her land. Through contact, it was determined that the person with the next piece of land had built the house by mistake on his land, so Ms. Thao contacted to negotiate a solution but failed.
Faced with the above situation, Ms. Thao has sent a document requesting the family of the person who built the house to urgently relocate the house. At the same time, Ms. Thao also sent a petition to the People's Committee of Chanh Hiep Ward, requesting the ward to remind and urge the relocation of the house to be carried out, ensuring the legitimate rights of the family.
Talking to reporters, the leader of the People's Committee of Chanh Hiep Ward said that he had assigned a professional unit to handle the incident.
