Manchester United's chance to own Benjamin Sesko's signature has been significantly strengthened as the striker impressed the Old Trafford team.
In the context of coach Ruben Amorim rushing to strengthen the attack after a disappointing season, Sesko has emerged as the top target.
Some strikers have been linked with the Red Devils, including Viktor Gyokeres. However, the Swedish striker has completed his move to Arsenal, Man United's direct competitor in the Premier League.
In that context, Sesko is emerging as a viable alternative. The Slovene striker has made a strong impression in the RB Leipzig shirt in recent seasons and is currently in the hands of the Old Trafford team.

Newcastle have also expressed interest in Sesko, seeing him as a potential replacement for Alexander Isak - who has been linked with a move to Liverpool. However, Man United took the lead in the race, thanks to Sesko's own clear stance on leaving and his special impression of the "Red Devils".
According to British media, Man United's board has proactively contacted Sesko to provide details of the sports project they are building. At the same time, they have also made specific proposals on personal terms for the striker's representative, as a preparation step before officially negotiating with RB Leipzig.
Luckily for Man United, Sesko responded positively and was impressed with what the "Red Devils" presented in the team development project. However, there is still a long way to go to reach an agreement, as RB Leipzig is said to be looking to earn about 64 million pounds.
Meanwhile, Amorim also shared his expectations for the new recruits. He said: "They really want to wear the Man United shirt. I think the important thing we can bring to the fans is a commitment to recruiting players who have affirmed their class.
Sometimes you have a very potential player, and you have to realize that. But for all the players who are about to join, we need to understand them. We have to talk, we have to clearly present the project that the team is building."

Sesko, who has scored 39 goals for RB Leipzig in the last two seasons, has revealed a key factor that could influence his transfer decision. That is the playing style of the new team. Speaking after joining Leipzig, he said:
"Actually, I don't participate much in those kinds of discussions, but I feel better when I come here. For me, playing in a place with a similar football style is very important. I know what I need to do and don't have to start over with the whole learning process" - Sesko said.
This statement shows that Man United's development of a suitable playing style could be a key factor in convincing Sesko to join Old Trafford.
