Behind each goal, a celebratory action and a moment that changed the situation of the match in Switzerland was a sophisticated broadcasting and digital activity, designed to increase coverage and record all the emotions of the tournament for fans around the world.
To compare with world-class matches on the pitch, a modern broadcasting system is being deployed at the tournament in Switzerland. With more than 60 UEFA broadcasting partners around the world, fans in more than 165 territories are immersed in the atmosphere and emotions that are more vibrant than ever.
Right from the opening match, an upgraded camera system brought new camera angles and increased drama on screen.
A record number of cameras have been used for a women's EURO including 27 cameras for the Basel final and broadcasters now have more in-person and indirect access than ever. Thanks to that, the audience enjoyed unprecedented content before, during and after all 31 matches.
With the participation of a large number of fans on social networks, the digital content of the EURO 2025 Women's Football Championship has been expanded. This includes content producers recording important moments directly at each match, which are immediately shared with broadcasters and teams through a dedicated platform.

For the first time at an EURO, some teams have agreed to let a player wear a mini camera mounted on a special safety belt in the tunnel before a match, to record unique footage of their journey to the stadium.
Meanwhile, the images and lineups of the teams are also provided before the tournament so that UEFA, broadcasters and national associations have the best documents to enrich their coverage.
Reducing environmental impact
In line with UEFA's broader sustainable approach to society and the environment, sustainability has been incorporated into all of the tournament's broadcasting activities.
broadcasting partners can now remotely access all sources of live match data without having to bring production staff or vehicles to the set. Through UEFA content Hub, supported by Eurovision Services, they can trace these data sources through multiple points of presence (PoP) distribution centers around the world.
Before the tournament, traveling by train was a priority for all field trips and preparation meetings and host broadcasters in Switzerland did not use any flights.
Editorial content is being produced remotely, and meetings with stakeholders have been conducted through television conferences whenever possible. Sustainability is also a key focus in UEFA's pre-tournament communication activities, including in partner seminars.
Together, these initiatives represent a creative approach to women's EURO broadcasting - providing world-class coverage while promoting sustainability.
