After weeks of speculation and questioning who Arsenal will sign to lead the attack next season, it seems that this has finally had an answer.
The Gunners and Sporting Lisbon are currently said to be in an "upgraded negotiation" on a blockbuster contract for Viktor Gyokeres. This is one of Arsenal's top transfer targets in the summer of 2025 along with RB Leipzig star Benjamin Sesko. But their spending doesnt stop there.
The addition of a quality No. 9 player is a top priority for Arsenal this summer, but they also want to increase their strength in other positions.

A new left winger is also on the wish list of coach Mikel Arteta. Meanwhile, adding another midfielder - possibly two as Eberechi Eze is emerging as a serious target - is almost certain.
With big signings for Gyokeres, Martin Zubimendi and many other players, Arsenal's squad in the coming season is expected to be worth waiting for.
In goal, David Raya is almost certain to be the main goalkeeper after an excellent season. But Arsenal's recruitment of Kepa Arrizabalaga means the Spaniard will have new competition in the 2025-2026 campaign.
Similarly, in defense, the Gunners do not need to change too much. Remember, last season, they were the team that conceded the fewest goals in the Premier League.
Myles Lewis-Skelly has been rewarded with a new contract after a breakthrough 2024-2025 campaign and will continue to work as a left-back. The opposite wing is the presence of Ben White.
In the center of defense, Christian Mosquera could be added to increase depth, but the cooperation between Gabriel and William Saliba will be difficult to interrupt.
The midfield will be the area where Arsenal's big changes will be witnessed. Martin Zubimendi has completed his contract and will immediately be trusted in the deep-lying midfield position. In theory, this will help free Declan Rice so that he can become an attacking midfielder.

Martin Odegaard will also feature in the midfield trio alongside Rice and Zubimendi. Arteta hopes the Norwegian midfielder can regain his best form after a challenging 2024-2025 campaign. Odegaard's position will be threatened if The Gunners really want to chase Crystal Palace's Eberechi Eze in the coming days.
Up front, Rodrygo is emerging as Arsenal's top left winger. This will be a truly valuable contract for the Emirates team. The Brazilian striker will add a new direction to Arsenal's attack.
Bukayo Saka is an unattainable player at the Emirates, who is almost certain to start in his preferred position on the right wing. And of course, the Gunners will be looking forward to Viktor Gyokeres' arrival.
The Swedish striker has scored 97 goals in 102 matches for Sporting Lisbon and is capable of helping Arsenal win their first domestic championship in more than 20 years.
Arsenal's dream team for the 2025-2026 season: Raya, White, Gabriel, Saliba, Lewis-Skelly, Zubimendi, Rice, Odegaard, Saka, Gyokeres, Rodrygo.
