The failure of the Thai women's team against the Philippines in the semi-finals of the 33rd SEA Games women's football made many home fans regretful, especially with Madam Pang - President of the Football Association of Thailand (FAT).
Right after the penalty shootout ended, she went down to the field, directly meeting each player to encourage them and share sympathy with the whole team. The image of Madam Pang standing alongside the players shows her great interest in women's football, even in the most difficult moments.
On her personal page, Madam Pang also sent a short message: "We must continue fighting", calling on the whole team not to fall after failure and continue to strive for the road ahead.
At the 33rd SEA Games, this was the first time since the tournament, President FAT was present in the stands to watch a match of the Thai women's team.
In previous group stage matches, she only followed remotely and regularly contacted the team after each match, and announced bonuses to encourage competitive spirit.

In terms of expertise, the semi-final match between Thailand and the Philippines took place in accordance with the tense nature of a knockout match. After 120 minutes of fighting, the two teams drew 1-1.
Thailand opened the scoring in the 53rd minute thanks to a cross-angle shot by Jiraporn Mongkoldee. However, in the 87th minute, the Philippines equalized from the penalty spot caused by Jael-Marie Guy, forcing the match to enter a penalty shootout.
On the 11m mark, the Philippines players showed their coolness and accuracy, winning 4-2 to win a ticket to the final of the 33rd SEA Games, where they will reunite with the Vietnam women's team.
