The Football Association of Thailand (FAT) terminated its working contract with coach Masatada Ishii and issued a notice on the afternoon of October 21. The reason is said to be that Mr. Ishii's approach and coaching methods are no longer in line with the long-term development orientation of Thai football.
Just a few hours after the news of the contract termination was announced, coach Masatada Ishii posted an article accusing the Thai Football Federation of providing dishonest information.

The Japanese strategist said: "I was called by FAT at 10am this morning to review the two matches against Taiwan (China). However, after the evaluation process ended, I suddenly received information 'Your contract will terminate today'. The reason is that they want to change the coaching staff.
I couldn't contain my emotions so I said I would talk to her again next time. I do not agree to sign it. And then in the afternoon, the dismissal notice was issued. What a dishonest people. I would like to sincerely thank everyone for supporting the Thai national team until now".
Mr. Masatada Ishii's sharing fueled a wave of outrage in Thailand. Golden Temple fans criticized FAT for his unprofessional work, affecting the image of the national team.

Many people even took a more severe stance when calling on Madam Pang to resign. On social networks, posts with the content "Madam get out" continuously appeared. The personal page of the President of the Football Association of Thailand received thousands of angry comments and questioning.
"War Elephants" fans asked Madam Pang to frankly face the public: "Let's talk frankly about the dismissal of coach Masatada Ishii. Thai fans want to know. There is no need to make up a story or find beautiful words to tell us".
